System Analyst (Java)

We are hiring a System Analyst (Java) to join our software engineering team in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining mission-critical applications. 

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology & Engineering;
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software development using Java technologies;
• Skilled in system design (including database design), development, and quality assurance;
• Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, HTML, and XML;
• Must have experience with Experience with Spring (Boot, Batch, Web), Hibernate, JPA, Struts, Prime Faces, Angular/AngularJS, React, Node.js, Apache Spark, and Oracle ADF; 
• Experience with REST, SOAP, AJAX, JSF, and WSRP;
• Proficient with IDEs like Eclipse and JDeveloper; experienced with JBoss/WildFly, WebLogic, WebSphere, IBM MQ, responsive design, SOA, and rules engines;
• Comfortable working on Linux, Unix, and Windows, with databases like Oracle, MS SQL, and DB2;
• Excellent communication, project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. 

Desirable Skill(s)

• Familiar with testing tools and web servers (Apache, IIS);
• Working experience in COBOL, CICS, DB2.

Responsibilities

• Involve in requirements analysis, contribute to system design, and oversee the development, testing, and deployment of web-based applications;
• Maintain and enhance applications to meet changing business requirements;
• Manage and optimize relational databases, ensuring data integrity and smooth integration;
• Develop and integrate web services for efficient data exchange between systems;
• Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and resolve technical issues to maintain code quality;
• Gather user requirements, collaborate with teams, and manage project timelines and resources;
• Ensure application scalability and stay updated on industry trends to enhance system performance.
