Senior Software and Application Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Major Incident Manager to take end-to-end ownership of critical incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business impact. The role involves high-level coordination, strong communication with stakeholders, and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and application ecosystems.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Must have 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure or Application Support;
  • Must have overall IT background with 8+ years of experience;
  • Solid understanding of IT Operations and Ecosystems;
  • Familiarity with Capital Markets or Corporate Banking environments and application flows from Front to Back office.;
  • Experience with monitoring tools and job scheduling (e.g., CTRL-M).;
  • Good understanding of core IT infrastructure technologies:
    • UNIX, Windows, Networking;
    • SAN Storage, Databases (DBA);
    • Middleware (MQ), Job Schedulers;
  • Ability to quickly assess technical interdependencies and impact;
  • Proven leadership and multi-tasking abilities in high-pressure environments;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in an international, multi-tiered organization.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Work experience in banking industry.

Responsibilities

  • Take complete ownership of Major Incidents to minimize downtime and impact;
  • Coordinate troubleshooting efforts across multiple technical teams and support groups;
  • Follow structured incident management processes from detection to closure;
  • Facilitate rapid decision-making by consolidating diagnosis and resolution strategies;
  • Assess incident criticality and escalate to Crisis Management if necessary;
  • Coordinate and ensure high-quality Incident Reports and Post-Incident Reviews;
  • Organize and lead Post-Incident Meetings to identify root causes and preventive measures;
  • Maintain consistency across all incident documentation platforms;
  • Provide analytical insights and KPIs to senior management;
  • Act as a Process Manager to enforce and improve the Incident Management lifecycle.
