We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Applications/Systems Programmer to join our Application Services team. This role focuses on implementing DevOps practices, enhancing system reliability, and supporting day-to-day operations.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, or related disciplines;
• Must have 3 years of experience in UNIX environments;
• Must have strong scripting skills in Python and PowerShell;
• Must have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with tools such as Ansible, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes;
• Experience with job scheduling tools like Control-M;
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, ITIL, Agile, and Lean practices.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Experience in the banking or financial sector;
• Knowledge of observability tools such as grafana, Kibana, AppDynamics;
• Familiarity with incident and change management processes;
• Understanding of application architectures and IT ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary operational technical support for applications and coordinate with functional support teams;
• Drive enhancements to complex operations such as disaster recovery planning, migrations, and major system maintenance;
• Improve system reliability, monitoring, automation, and alerting to reduce downtime and improve responsiveness;
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate time-to-market;
• Manage technical issues and escalations, ensuring effective resolution and delivery;
• Standardize and enhance existing workflows and frameworks;
• Promote knowledge sharing through documentation, training, and collaborative sessions;
• Act as a bridge between development and operations to ensure smooth delivery and stability;
• Maintain and improve programmable code as per operational specifications and system instructions.
