We are looking for a dynamic Business Analyst / IT Functional Analyst with proven experience in corporate financing to design and deliver end-to-end IT solutions. The role requires working closely with stakeholders to streamline syndicated market deal flows, navigate regulatory requirements, and design scalable systems supporting complex financial products.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate financing or investment banking IT projects;
• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology;
• Must have strong understanding of syndicated finance, commercial loans, participations, guarantees, LCs, discounting, and factoring;
• Must have proven experience across the full software development life cycle (SDLC);
• Proficient in Agile development methodologies along with working knowledge of BDD frameworks and UML;
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools;
• Strong SQL skills for database querying and analysis.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., ECBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA);
• Experience in project management or leading functional teams;
• Exposure to Basel IV, IFRS 9, or similar financial regulations;
• Experience with structuring multi-product loan offerings;
• Familiarity with application project management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to capture, analyze, and finalize requirements;
• Document current and target business processes, operating models, and identify improvement areas;
• Design functional solutions aligned with business needs and IT architecture;
• Work with technical teams to convert functional specs into reliable solutions;
• Coordinate and conduct functional testing; track and verify fixes;
• Ensure delivery of well-tested and high-quality product features on schedule;
• Prepare quality documentation and training material for end-users;
• Support defect diagnosis and application issue resolution during testing and post-go-live;
• Maintain continuous communication with the program team to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
