As a Principal Engineering Consultant – Partner Solutions, you will provide technical leadership in evaluating, designing, and integrating partner technologies into mission-critical government systems. You will drive the development of solution patterns, standards, and frameworks that accelerate digital transformation across agencies. As a founding member of this growing practice, you will also help shape its long-term direction while working on high-impact projects in the public sector.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information System;
- Must have 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development and architecture;
- Must have expertise in enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and modern architectural approaches (e.g., microservices, event-driven systems, cloud-native architectures);
- Must have strong experience in large-scale partner solution design and implementation in complex enterprise environments;
- Must have strong experience in vendor/partner management – product evaluation, selection, negotiation, and ongoing technical collaboration;
- Ability to influence product directions and align partner solutions with organizational needs;
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring teams on integration best practices and architectural patterns;
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical discussions effectively.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Background in public sector IT modernization or highly regulated enterprise environments;
- Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance standards, and data governance;
- Exposure to legacy modernization programs and hybrid architectures.
Responsibilities
- Advise and guide agencies from problem definition to solution design, covering both greenfield and brownfield implementations;
- Address complex, high-impact technology challenges at a national scale, driving innovation and improving efficiency;
- Lead the technical evaluation, selection, and integration of partner solutions, ensuring compliance with security, scalability, and functionality standards;
- Design and architect solution patterns that integrate partner technologies with government systems and infrastructure;
- Define and drive the development of technical standards, reusable frameworks, and integration models for cross-agency adoption;
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and agency stakeholders to deliver sustainable, large-scale solutions;
- Provide mentorship and guidance to engineering teams, enabling best practices in solution integration and architecture;
- Influence through trust and collaboration, ensuring solutions are human-centric, outcome-driven, and future-ready.
