We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst responsible for development and maintenance of Risk and Finance applications used by worldwide users. Among others, it includes Credit Approval & Counterparty Risk IT
It also covers Front Office Applications, Credit Decision Processing tool, Global Authorization Repository system and Default History Data Base. The applications are all in-house developments.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Information Technology or related field;
- Must possess at least 7-10 years of experience in Risks Management in financial industry;
- Good knowledge in Risk area like Deals, Authorization, Guarantees, Risk Weighted Assets, etc.
- Hands on experience on various Risk Reporting. Should have worked on data mapping and testing of such risk data;
- Analyze and assess business functional specifications; recommend amendments to maximize efficiency and improve business value;
- Practical knowledge of SQL language;
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills;
- Fast reacting and autonomous, with a problem solving orientation;
- Knowledge of scrum tools and agile process;
- Proficient in UAT, Functional Testing, and System Integration Testing for financial applications;
- Must have experience in skills such as SQL, MSP, Jira, SharePoint and Confluence;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Knowledge of project management and software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Executing Business Analysis best practices and Engagement of Stakeholders across Front-to-Back functions;
- Responsible for all analysis of functional requirements arising from the requirements of business stakeholders, business users and technology;
- Mapping the identified functional requirements and define a solution;
- Designing and executing the test cases for the IT business requirements;
- Defect reporting and triage;
- Multi-tasking: Work in Agile – Scrum environment as a BA & PM/Scrum Master. Should be able to refine/groom future stories & perform BA tests within the sprint time-box;
- Managing the requirements and provide design options for the solutions available and guide the team;
- Evaluation of alternative IT solutions and provide appropriate recommendations;
- Provide Payments domain expertise to help define a viable business solution, working with the key business sponsors;
- Ensuring that the services delivered conforms with, and contributes to the development of the business strategy;
- Assess the impacts on the project plans resulting from change requests, adhoc projects, or technology issues;
- Coordinating with various users groups and interface teams and getting them on board as interface services for various financial services;
- Managing stakeholders, risks, issues, quality, and project controls;
- Work closely with the technical implementation team in bridging the gap from translating functional to technical details
Involve in QA activities when needed; - Provide functional Guidance to the Team, working closely with developers/Tech Leads for assisting in resolution of queries.
