Mandatory Skill(s)
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
- At least 3 years of front-end application support experience;
- Experience with modern programming language such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java;
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline from frontend build perspective;
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs;
- Knowledge of modern container technology, such as docker, K8s;
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth, JSON Web Token;
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, NPM, Yarn, etc.;
- Cloud technologies and architectural knowledge;
- Proven track records in managing regional-based Front-end systems and experiences in implementing IT systems/projects to multiple BUs;
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to influence and work in cross functional teams – a team player.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Working experience in Financial Services Industries (FSI).
Responsibilities
- Evaluate production issues based on analysis of information; lead, drive and resolve problems;
- Analyze and propose short-term resolutions and work with relevant technology partners for long term remediation;
- Proactive involvement in and ownership of production support items covering stability, efficiency, and effectiveness initiatives;
- Participate and assist in application releases, from design, development, testing and deployment into production;
- Develop and maintain technical support documentation;
- Analyze applications to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues;
- Establish Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process with users, which includes the level of application support maintenance;
- Cloud Adoption and Modernization: Production improvement, drive to achieve a high degree of automation, security, and performance management;
- Learn and master cloud knowledge covering IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS in designing for container-based deployment (Docker, K8 or similar);
- Learn and master architectural knowledge across other infrastructure domains such as cloud networking, storage, backup, databases and cybersecurity;
- Thorough understanding of assessment methodologies to develop fit for purpose enterprise cloud strategy;
- Understand and implement CI/ CD automation tools with cloud agnostic;
- Deep understanding of cloud design patterns to deliver great customer outcomes by crafting for high availability, multi-region, and multi-set architectures;
- Identifying and mitigating security risks, designing top tier security practices, and delivering strategic, innovative cloud-based security offerings;
- Provide guidance for junior to complete task;
- Train up junior and trainees to support production issues.
