Job Overview:
You will play a critical role in helping us to grow Data & AI services revenue, primarily from Insurance and financial services industry sectors.
What is expected from this role?
- Employ business development strategies to secure new business, achieve revenue goals and foster growth.
- Take ownership and implement the agreed-upon strategy to boost service revenue, in line with the business potential of the targeted segments.
- Identify new opportunities through various channels, not limited to referrals, networking, social media, internet research, sales leads, direct contact, and involvement in the RFP/tendering process.
- Initiate connections with prospects and engage with key stakeholders.
- Lead presales engagements: assess client requirements, shape solutions, and align them to business outcomes.
- Develop end-to-end solution narratives covering data ingestion, integration, governance, ML/AI model development, and visualization.
- Translate technical capabilities into business value, building business cases and ROI models for clients.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and RFP responses with clear value articulation.
- Act as the “face of solutioning” during client meetings, presenting both technical and business perspectives.
- Proactively forge new client partnerships within targeted accounts, including organizational chart development.
- Collaborate with existing clients in the targeted segments, gathering additional qualified requirements and educating them on our service offerings and processes.
- Create opportunities to present our value proposition to senior executives and management-level contacts.
- Regularly update and maintain client information in accordance with Sciente standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Monitor Purchase Orders/agreements and oversee the process until collections are completed.
- Ensure compliance with Sciente’s values and policies.
Who shall fit-in the best for this role?
- Ideal candidate shall have a degree or diploma in IT/Finance/Business, coupled with a natural inclination towards sales and business development.
- The candidate should boast a minimum of 3 years of demonstrable success in Sales/Business Development/Account management within the realm of technology-related application products/IT (managed) services.
- Require a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pre-Sales/ Project Delivery/ Consultant.
- Sound understanding of data platforms, governance, and AI/ML use cases.
- Ability to bridge business and technical conversations, engaging CXOs and delivery teams alike.
- Local Singapore working experience and relationships within insurance or financial services industry is required.
