This Project Manager role handles specialized technical oversight and vendor relationships for assigned projects in the hospitality industry.
 

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Must have a degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field;
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally in the theme park industry, managing vendor performance and ensuring technical accuracy in design, deliverables, and installation; 
• Must have a strong understanding of industry standards and codes, with the ability to create, assess, and implement testing programs focused on safety, quality, and system reliability; 
• Must have solid knowledge of workplace safety and health regulations specific to Singapore.
• Experience on-site alongside contractors and vendors in active construction environments,
• Skilled in writing clear reports, formal correspondence, and procedural documentation;
• Capable of delivering presentations and addressing inquiries from stakeholders including management, contractors, clients, and the public; 
• Effective communication skills, strong interpersonal, leadership, and team management skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Proficient in interpreting and analyzing technical drawings and documentation; 
• Possesses solid knowledge of engineering methods and practices relevant to specific scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of hospitality related system projects, including mechanical, control, special effects, A/V, lighting, and projection components; 
• Develop and evaluate technical specifications for procurement and tender processes related to all entertainment zone disciplines; 
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within defined scope, and aligned with budgetary constraints; 
• Monitor and control project scope, schedule, and cost changes using established verification and risk management techniques; 
• Lead technical coordination and communication with designers, vendors, contractors, and other external partners; 
• Facilitate reviews for design, installation, permitting, and creative approvals to meet both technical and intellectual property standards; 
• Uphold safety, quality, and maintainability by enforcing engineering standards and compliance with international codes and IP holder requirements.
