We are looking for a skilled UAT Tester / Test Analyst / QA Specialist to lead and execute testing activities for a major programme. You will be responsible for developing and implementing test plans, ensuring system quality, and collaborating with IT, business units, and other stakeholders. The role requires strong testing expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work across teams in a fast-paced environment.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in IT testing methodologies, tools, and techniques (manual testing, UAT execution, defect tracking);
- Must have experience in writing and executing User Acceptance Test (UAT) cases;
- Ability to design and execute test cases based on business and technical requirements;
- Must have strong knowledge of SDLC and familiarity with Agile methodologies;
Desirable Skill(s)
- Good communication skills and ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing (performance, integration, regression);
- Banking/Wealth Management domain experience is a strong plus;
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, document, execute, and report on test strategies, approaches, and plans;
- Collaborate with PMO, IT, Product Development & Strategy, Business Units, Operations, and Risk teams;
- Review requirements and specifications to ensure test coverage and alignment with business objectives;
- Develop and execute manual and automated test scripts for releases;
- Perform unit, integration, regression, and performance testing;
- Identify, log, and track defects; work closely with developers for timely resolution;
- Provide regular progress updates, highlighting risks and issues;
- Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
- Conduct exploratory and ad hoc testing as required;
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and industry best practices.
