We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a Core Banking IT team responsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of a global Core Banking and Payments platform deployed across multiple international business units.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Must have 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working on Core Banking and Payment Systems;
• Must have strong experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and stakeholder management;
• Must have hands-on experience in UAT, Functional Testing, and System Integration Testing;
• Strong knowledge of payment systems, clearing mechanisms, and payment life cycles;
• Experience with ISO 20022, SEPA, and SWIFT (cross-border payments);
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle;
• Experience using ALM / QC / JIRA or similar tools;
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across business, operations, and technology teams.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Experience with payment products and platforms such as RTGS, TT, Bulk/Mass Payments, Cash Management, Payments Hub, Clearing & Settlement, ACH, Real-Time Payments;
• Knowledge of banking reports and messaging formats (CAMT, MT, Pain.02) and exposure to Corporate/Retail Banking, AML, FX, Messaging, or Trade Finance;
• Exposure to test automation and modern platforms such as Cucumber, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Graph DBs, Kibana in large-scale, distributed systems;
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive, hands-on, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, brainstorming sessions, questionnaires, and stakeholder discussions;
• Understand BRDs, define scope, validate requirements, and translate them into functional solutions;
• Collaborate with Lead Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and technology teams to finalize solutions;
• Act as a liaison between business users, operations, vendors, and development teams;
• Prepare and review functional documentation including BRDs, FSDs, and related artifacts;
• Support product collateral creation, training needs, and stakeholder communication;
• Coordinate with integration partners and internal vendors;
• Identify risks, resolve issues, support governance activities, and document meetings;
• Define and execute functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing for core banking and payment systems;
• Prepare, maintain, and review test scenarios, test cases, and test libraries;
• Support SIT and UAT teams by clarifying requirements and reviewing test coverage;
• Lead defect management activities including logging, prioritization, tracking, and closure;
• Coordinate testing activities and ensure timely completion across SIT and UAT teams;
• Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status to stakeholders;
• Support business users and operations teams during User Acceptance Testing.
