Manual Tester responsible for preparing, executing, and documenting test cases to ensure software quality, identify bugs, and support User Acceptance Testing; Collaborates with developers and business analysts to optimize testing processes.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field;
- Must have 1 year of software testing experience;
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail);
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Tosca, Selenium);
- Ability to prepare test data using SQL scripts;
- Knowledge of Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
Responsibilities
- Prepare test cases/test artefacts taking guidance from the functional specifications or user story;
- Prepare Requirement Tracability Matrix;
- Prepare test data using tools such as SQL scripts;
- Execute both manual and automated test scripts;
- Analyse test results to predict user behaviour, identify bugs and suggest solutions to minimise problems;
- Document and produce daily test report;
- Coordinate and liaise with Business Analysts and Developers;
- Assist business users in performing User Acceptance Test;
- Execute automation test cases.
