Seeking Senior Computer Operator responsible for 24×7 monitoring, batch processing, backup management, and ensuring smooth Data Center operations in compliance with SLAs and IT policies. Supports infrastructure projects, regional business units, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure, AS/400, Control-M) while managing incidents and maintaining operational stability.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Diploma or above in Computer Science or related discipline;
- Must have 4+ years of experience in data center or system operations;
- Strong hands-on experience in AS/400 operations;
- Familiarity with Control-M, AWS Cloud, and Windows PC environments;
- Diploma or above in Computer Science or a related field;
- Willingness to work 24/7 rotating shifts
Desirable Skill(s)
- ITIL V3 Foundation certification or equivalent IT service management knowledge;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Chinese;
- Experience with Media Management systems and Life Asia applications.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Data Center systems in compliance with IT standards, policies, and SOPs;
- Manage overnight and weekend batch processing, backups, and peripheral devices, resolving operational issues promptly;
- Assess and mitigate risks from changes within the Data Center environment;
- Support infrastructure projects and coordinate with IT project teams for smooth implementation;
- Notify stakeholders of incidents and facilitate timely resolution of operational issues;
- Provide support to regional business units and ensure compliance with IT risk and security policies.
