Planner (Manufacturing Logistics)

We are hiring for a role of Planner. The Planner will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating production activities to meet throughput and inventory targets. This includes defining monthly WIP and production goals, conducting equipment capacity studies, optimizing material flow, and managing yield/process variations to fulfill customer demand. The role also covers ingot growing schedules, deliveries to international sites, and adjustments for changing specifications, while ensuring alignment with global inventory strategies. Strong skills in manufacturing logistics, ERP systems, Excel (VBA), and C++ are valued, along with team management and stakeholder collaboration.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Degree in Engineering;
  • Knowledge of logistic processes and systems in manufacturing;
  • Understanding of manufacturing process and product costing;
  • High level of PC skills (ERP systems, Excel);
  • Team management and leadership ability;
  • Knowledge of C++ (advantage);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with Visual Basic as an advantage.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Proficiency in Excel VBA and C++ for automation and optimization;
  • Strong ERP/MES system experience (SAP, Oracle, Syncade);
  • Exposure to semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing processes (wafer/ingot planning, yield management);
  • Ability to conduct capacity planning, time studies, and process variation control;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for material flow and efficiency improvements;
  • Effective team leadership and stakeholder collaboration across production, logistics, and engineering;
  • Flexibility to adapt schedules and strategies to global targets and changing customer specifications.

Responsibilities
Production Scheduling

  • Develop and define shop floor scheduling strategies to meet planned throughput;
  • Inventory & WIP Management;
  • Set monthly WIP and production targets to achieve global inventory days-on-hand for ingots, WIP, and finished goods;

Capacity Planning

  • Conduct time studies and analyze material flow to determine equipment capacity;
  • Identify and implement improvements in capacity utilization and material flow;

Yield & Process Control

  • Define and update strategies for yield and process time variation to ensure customer demand is met;

Ingot Planning & Delivery

  • Schedule ingot growing based on product mix and puller capacities;
  • Plan and execute ingot deliveries to international sites;
  • Adjust starts and ingot growing plans to manage changes in specifications.
