We are seeking Supplier Quality Engineer who will be responsible for managing and ensuring supplier quality across materials and contractors, acting as the primary interface with suppliers. Oversees specifications, QA agreements, and early alert systems to ensure only compliant materials are released to production. Collaborates with procurement and logistics teams to standardize supplier management globally, while establishing and reporting supplier quality KPIs. Conducts periodic supplier and contractor performance reviews, aligns incoming QC processes, and ensures adherence to IATF 16949, ISO9001, and Quality Management Systems through audits and application of statistical quality tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC).
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Engineering or Science;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in audit and management systems;
- Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and audits;
- Good knowledge of statistical techniques and quality tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC);
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO9001 (must-have);
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to multi-task effectively.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience in supplier quality management within semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing;
- Familiarity with global procurement and logistics processes;
- Ability to establish and track supplier KPIs and performance metrics;
- Strong skills in supplier liaison and negotiation (specs, QA agreements, SQC arrangements);
- Exposure to incoming quality control (IQC) and alignment of supplier practices with company standards;
- Hands-on experience with contractor performance reviews and supplier audits;
- Knowledge of early alert systems for supplier quality issues;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary quality interface with suppliers, ensuring alignment on specifications and agreements;
- Manage material specifications, QA agreements, SQC systems, and early alert mechanisms with suppliers;
- Ensure only materials meeting specification requirements are released into production;
- Collaborate with FMOS, global/local procurement, and logistics teams to standardize supplier management;
- Establish, maintain, and report supplier quality KPIs on a periodic basis;
- Conduct supplier quality and contractor performance reviews regularly;
- Align and improve work processes and practices for supplier quality and incoming QC.
