We are looking for a Researcher / Senior Researcher to join our client's R&D team focused on carbon-related services, including carbon assessment, green financing, and carbon trading. This role involves conducting research on customer challenges, developing innovative service concepts and business models, and translating research outcomes into practical, market-ready solutions.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Master’s Degree or PhD in Service Design, Business, Sustainability, Finance, Engineering, or related disciplines;
• Must have at least 3 years of relevant experience in service and ecosystem development, including use case and business model creation (preferably in B2B and finance-related environments);
• Experience in service design and customer-facing or stakeholder engagement activities;
• Hands-on experience in design thinking, business strategy, and solution development;
• Knowledge of carbon accounting, carbon assessment, green finance, or carbon trading;
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Experience in green finance mechanisms and carbon market frameworks;
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting standards and ESG frameworks;
• Experience conducting Proof of Concept (PoC) in real-world environments;
• Experience working with global or cross-functional research teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on customer challenges and develop innovative service ideas related to carbon assessment, green financing, and carbon trading;
• Design service blueprints, business ecosystems, and sustainable business models;
• Plan and execute Proof of Concept (PoC) to demonstrate solution value in real-world applications;
• Engage customers to gather requirements and translate them into solution proposals;
• Prepare proposal documents, presentation materials, and technical reports;
• Collaborate with global research teams and various stakeholders to develop and deliver integrated solutions.
