Web Engineer

We are looking for a Web Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building modern, high-performance web applications. As part of our engineering team, you will work in an agile environment, developing and optimizing frontend solutions for cutting-edge banking applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, a passion for creating seamless user experiences, and the ability to collaborate across teams to drive innovation.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Have 5+ years of experience in frontend development;
• Must have working experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS;
• Must have React and Angular skills;
• Have proficiency in modern frontend frameworks: React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, or Lit;
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Karma, Chai);
• Understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility;
• Should have hands-on experience with complex Git workflows;
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;

Desirable Skill(s)

• Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures;
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes);
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure);
• Understanding of backend integration (APIs, GraphQL, REST);

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies;
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code by following best practices and conducting peer reviews;
• Implement UI/UX designs and collaborate closely with designers to create engaging and accessible interfaces;
• Optimize web performance, ensuring smooth and efficient applications across different devices and browsers;
• Integrate APIs and backend services, working with backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences;
• Enhance security and accessibility standards in frontend development;
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices in frontend development;
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, helping to define and implement scalable solutions;
• Automate testing and deployment using CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a smooth release process;
• Stay updated on the latest frontend technologies and continuously improve development processes;
