We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in Quality Assurance and Treasury/Investment Banking systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Technical analysis, Quality Assurance (automation testing), product knowledge in treasury and front-office systems, and a proven track record working in Agile environments.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Must have 5+ years of experience in IT Business Analysis and automation testing within banking industry;
- Must have experience of working on Treasury and Capital Market products, including Market (Loans, CDs, Call Accounts);
- Must have familiarity with technologies such as .NET Core, Java, Azure DevOps, PL/SQL, and Shell scripting;
- Must have experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, and BDD practices;
- Experience in Fixed Income, Bonds, FX (Spot/Forward/Swap), Derivatives (IRD/FXO), Equities;
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and risk management concepts;
- Well versed with SDLC;
- Experience with Front Office systems (in-house or third-party) and system integration;
- Solid background in requirements lifecycle management, and Agile methodologies;
- Proven liaison experience between onshore business and offshore technical teams.
Desirable Skill(s)
- ISTQB Tester Foundation Level Certification.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from multiple stakeholders;
- Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize and translate requirements into actionable user stories;
- Create comprehensive functional specifications, including system behavior, data flows, and user interactions;
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment with business needs and technical feasibility;
- Provide ongoing functional expertise throughout the software lifecycle;
- Conduct impact analysis of changes on existing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs);
- Support BDD activities and contribute user scenarios for functional testing;
- Create detailed specifications, effort estimates, and test scenarios;
- Manage monthly release cycles and ensure compliance with coding and testing milestones;
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide support during production deployments;
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production issues and user queries;
- Define and implement comprehensive QA strategies, both functional and automated;
- Utilize automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber) for efficient and reusable testing practices;
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide detailed reporting and resolution strategies;
- Document all QA activities, including defects, results, and observations;
- Identify and implement process improvements across business and QA operations.
