We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Specialist with JAVA skills to work on projects for a renowned bank. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in testing, scripting, and developing test frameworks.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
- Must have at least 8 years of experience in Automation Testing in a banking or financial environment;
- Must have Java development experience and proficiency in tools like Selenium, Cucumber;
- Must have experience in end-to-end testing and knowledge of SQL and MS Excel;
- Sound experience in DevOps Pipeline tools like GIT, Maven, Jenkins, GitLab, Docker / Kubernetes;
- Strong understanding of the Test Life Cycle (development, execution, maintenance);
- Knowledge of finance and good understanding of SDLC;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent organization skills, proactive, team player, and effective communication skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- ISTQB or other QA certifications;
- Experience in web scripting language: JavaScript, CSS, HTML5.
Responsibilities
- Build automated test solutions using Cucumber and Selenium;
- Coordinate with BAs and involved in requirement gathering;
- Liaise with developers, and testers to create the automation test suite;
- Design, develop and test code using CI/CD pipeline, document the automated test processes;
- Manage integration test phases (planning, test coverage, and functional adequacy);
- Responsible for continuous improvement initiatives for software and QA development processes;
- Maintain up-to-date test libraries and cases;
- Conduct manual and automated application testing;
- Prepare regular test result reports.
