Tivoli Storage Manager

We are looking for a Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) to demonstrate expert level of knowledge for IBM spectrum product solutions and handle complex support issues to ensure smooth operations for projects within a renowned bank.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Must have TSM product skills on OS such as Windows, AIX Solaris, Linux(basic Unix), DB2 and networking;
• Must have 2-3 years of experience/ knowledge on IBM Storage Manager on Database such as Oracle, DB2,SQL, Mail such as Domino, Exchange and Vmware;
• Experience with NDMP backups and DRM management using IBM/Tivoli Storage Manager;
• Must be able to learn and adapt to new technologies, and effectively compare and articulate modern approaches; 
• Proactively embraces new challenges and is eager to learn and collaborate with both global and local teams;
• Proven experience in leading and managing both junior and senior team members;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Willing to Travel within your defined geography;
• Must be Willing to work on standby hours(public holidays/weekends) if Required.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Knowledge of Tape Libraries, LTO Tape Drives, Vertias NetBackup BAU operations for Vmware and recovery;
• Demonstrated expertise in configuring and managing TSM server and client options.

Responsibilities

• Must have at least 5 Years of proven Technical Experience in TSM;
• Review and update backup policies and environment for audit applications;
• Familiarity with IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Server on Windows, Linux, and UNIX;
• Perform billable service engagements, Including installation/implementation of IBM Spectrum Product;
• Support 24×7 Operations and Ready to provide Onsite and remote support;
• Conduct Technical Training and educate operations team on IBM spectrum product solutions and storage management.
