IT Security Specialist

We are hiring a Security Specialist. This technical role is responsible for managing, administering, and supporting Data Security and Endpoint Security technologies across the infrastructure projects within a renowned bank.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Must have 8+ years of experience in IT Security, focusing on administration and management of Antivirus, EDR, and Endpoint Protection solutions such as Symantec, McAfee, Windows Defender, Sentinel One;
  • Proven hands-on experience in administering IT security solutions;
  • Experience of working in a similar production environment in Run (Operations) mode;
  • Must have hands-on experience managing endpoint security solutions in a large enterprise environment;
  • Experience in defining and enforcing enterprise-level IT security policies for endpoint and data protection;
  • Must have Hands-on expertise in tools such as Symantec Endpoint Protection, Windows Defender, and Sentinel One;
  • Skilled in security solutions such as Endpoint Protection, EDR, and Email Security Solutions;
  • Experience in deployment, integration, and administration of Antivirus/EDR solutions, including policy configuration and troubleshooting;
  • Must have strong ITIL processes and comfortable in structured, process-driven environments;
  • Must have experience in defining, designing, and configuring antivirus (AV) policies aligned with business requirements.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Communication in French and experience in Financial sector;
  • CISSP certification;
  • Symantec Certified Specialist: SEPM (any version).

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage incident response, including fault investigation, resolution, escalation of monitoring alerts, and handling user-initiated problem calls/tickets, as well as request management.
  • Serve as the final technical approver for changes to Data Security systems and is accountable for any technical modifications within the environment from a RUN/BAU perspective;
  • Participate in projects related to End of Life, new builds, migrations, and technical upgrades of solutions managed by the team.
  • Engage in global infrastructure events, such as power-downs and disaster recovery (DR) tests.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with established norms, standards, processes, and procedures;
  • Utilize multiple forensic tools to gather evidence and investigate data leak incidents, conducts interrogations when necessary, and handles case closure and reporting;
  • Drive root cause analysis for high-severity issues and ensures timely resolution;
  • Complies with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements, including the Singapore Compliance Manual, Financial Security regulations, and anti-financial crime measures, including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
