Risk and Control Analyst

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Risk Control Analyst to support automation and digitalization projects in a esteemed bank. The role involves process improvement, data-driven insights, and operational risk management across sales, trading, and support functions.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or IT from a recognized institution;
• Must have 3 years of experience in banking, particularly in areas such as Treasury, Markets, Product Control, Middle Office Operations, or Custody/Securities Services;
• Experience in programming and data analytics using Tableau, Python or R;
• Must have strong understanding of operational risk, regulatory environments, and internal control processes;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information effectively;
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and adaptable mindset.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Familiarity with operational risk practices such as RCSA testing and risk reporting;
• Exposure to project management or digital transformation initiatives in financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to automate and digitize risk control monitoring and reporting processes;
• Utilize data analytics to generate management insights and enhance decision-making;
• Collaborate with business and support units to review and improve systems and processes aligned with product and operational risk requirements;
• Drive front-office process improvements to meet internal control and regulatory compliance standards;
• Provide support to traders, sales teams, and structurers in resolving operational risk-related issues;
• Assist in executing operational risk activities such as RCSA testing and preparing periodic risk reports.
