Business Analyst

Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to bridge business and IT within Capital Markets. The role focuses on translating financial and regulatory requirements into technical solutions, enhancing trading systems, and supporting end-to-end project delivery in a dynamic and data-driven environment.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Must have 5+ years of experience in capital markets with strong knowledge of FX, Credit, IRD, Bonds, and Derivatives;
• Must have proficiency in technologies such as SQL, Oracle, and Sybase for data analysis, including TSQL, JOINS, and data sourcing from CIBML, Kafka, and JSON;
• Must have hands-on with regulatory reporting frameworks such as MIFID II, EMIR, SFTR, CFTC, and APAC;
• Skilled in XSLT (Oxygen OS), Microservices, Swagger UI, and basic UNIX scripting;
• Experience in regulatory project delivery and documentation;
• Familiar with GIT, JIRA, Agile methodologies, and CFT principles;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Experience in market data, pricing, clearing, settlement, and affirmations;
• Knowledge of upstream platforms such as Jet Stream, TradeWeb, MarkitWire;
• Strong functional understanding of sales/trading workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications;
• Design scalable solutions with focus on integration and performance, while assessing cost-benefit and risk factors;
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and IT teams to implement and validate solutions;
• Support functional and user acceptance testing, ensuring alignment with business goals;
• Maintain documentation and promote best practices in data governance;
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to inform solution design;
• Manage stakeholder expectations and balance competing priorities effectively.
