Business Data Analyst

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Data Analyst to  work on projects for a leading bank and support the operational deployment of a Generative AI tool to banking products. This role will be instrumental in optimizing operational processing and ensuring the successful delivery of projects related to critical applications within a highly reputed financial institution.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Must have 1-2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst within banking industry;
• Must have strong understanding of software application such as data flow, data interfacing, and system integration;
• Must have familiarity with data governance and strategic data flow principles;
• Proven experience in end-to-end UAT coordination and testing strategy and Ability to analyze and document complex business requirements;
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;
• Should be a team player and should meet timelines.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Understanding of front-end configuration;
• Knowledge of data lineage and impact assessment frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope, assess change impacts, and document rationale for both impacted and non-impacted projects;
• Ensure solution design is aligned with strategic data flow and governance standards;
• Gather and rationalize stakeholder requirements and conduct detailed walkthroughs with the technical team;
• Actively participate in the design process to ensure long-term, scalable business solutions;
• Define testing strategies, propose UAT sign-off criteria, and secure stakeholder alignment;
• Lead end-to-end UAT management including scheduling, coordination, and test result validation;
• Prepare clear and structured documentation on data flows, solution design, and testing methodology.
