Senior Code Designer

We are looking for a highly skilled Code Designer and Java Full Stack Developer to work on projects for a reputed bank. The role involves the design and development of a data quality monitoring product that ensures trade message integrity across systems using custom routing, message transformation, and middleware technologies. 

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Capital Markets IT with strong understanding of trading systems and financial products;
• Must have proficiency with Java/J2EE, Spring Framework and RESTful web services;
• Must have strong front-end development experience using ReactJS, AngularJS, and TypeScript;
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and JMS/WebSphere MQ;
• Must have hands-on expertise in both relational and NoSQL databases;
• Proficient in Unix/Linux Shell scripting and version control systems;
• Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools;
• Exposure to application monitoring and automation tools;
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Align technical design with functional architecture;
• Write detailed technical designs, sequence diagrams, and API contracts;
• Review, merge, and manage code repositories;
• Develop, test, and implement scalable solutions;
• Perform non-functional testing to ensure performance and security;
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation;
• Support UAT and production systems, resolve issues as needed;
• Continuously improve development processes and propose automation;
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams;
• Capture lessons learned and integrate them into best practices;
• Maintain a focus on performance, scalability, and quality in all deliverables.
