Loans Executive

We have an exciting opening for a Loan Executive who has experience in secured loans or credit operations, to work on projects for a renowned bank.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Must have Diploma in Business and Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management or related disciplines;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial institutions either in Credit Operations or Secured Loans; 
• Comprehensive knowledge of consumer banking products and services, supported by expertise in end-to-end operational workflows;
• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel, Power point and Word;
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and a solid understanding of operational risks;
• Effective communication and strong problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skill(s)
Knowledge of Consumer banking products, deposits and banking procedures and operations.

Responsibilities

• Involved in drafting Letter of Offer and variation letters in accordance with approved terms for secured credit facilities;
• Perform completeness and accuracy checks on credit files, appointment of law firms/valuers, documentation checks for legal subsidy payments and mortgage document execution;
• Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed;
• Assist with document archival and retrieval, and ensure all requests are completed within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs);
• Assist the Team Manager with projects, initiatives, and process improvements;
• Complete ad hoc tasks and assignments within deadlines as directed by the Team Manager.
