We are seeking a Lead Engineer with expertise in Video Surveillance and ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) systems to oversee end-to-end project execution.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in design, deployment, troubleshooting, and team coordination for CCTV and ANPR solutions across various sites.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering;
- Has 5 years of experience in design, installation and support for Video Surveillance System (e.g. Milestone VMS, Axis cameras);
- Must have good knowledge of ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) technologies (e.g. Hikvision, ARH);
- Hands-on work with camera configuration, network setup, and integration with other systems;
- Solid understanding of frontend monitoring tools and basic video analytics such as motion detection, license plate recognition;
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently;
- Experience coordinating teams (internal and external) across multiple locations for project delivery;
- Capable of working independently, managing stress effectively, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong documentation and administrative skills for project maintenance reporting;
- Good verbal and communication skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Milestone Certified Integration Technician, Axis Certified Professional, or Hikvision Certified Security Associate;
- Knowledge of cloud-based video storage or VMS integration is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to design and architect video surveillance and ANPR systems based on business requirements;
- Involved in the installation and configuration of CCTV and ANPR systems including cameras, servers, and networking components;
- Configure software and hardware for optimal performance and integration;
- Provide Level 3 technical support – diagnose and resolve technical issues in video surveillance systems;
- As a Lead – coordinate tasks, monitor progress, client interactions and ensure quality standards are met;
- Ensure systems comply with local regulations and cybersecurity standards;
- Implement recommended data protection measures for video and license plate data.
