Looking for Senior Computer Operator who is responsible for operating computer systems in a data center environment, including console monitoring, peripheral management (printers, tape drives), batch processing, and backup support. This role also supports IT infrastructure projects, ensures compliance with IT risk and security policies, and contributes to the operational readiness of business units across the region.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• 4+ years of experience in data center or system operations;
• Strong hands-on experience in AS/400 operations;
• Familiarity with Control-M, AWS Cloud, and Windows PC environments;
• Diploma or above in Computer Science or a related field;
• Willingness to work 24/7 rotating shifts.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Experience with Microsoft Azure environments;
• ITIL v3 Foundation Certification (preferred);
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for handling internal teams and external service providers;
• Incident management and escalation capabilities;
• Experience supporting multi-country IT setups (APAC).

Responsibilities

• Operate data center environments in line with SOPs, policies, and compliance standards;
• Manage overnight/weekend production batch and output processing;
• Perform backup management and media cycling (tapes/discs);
• Maintain and support printers and other peripheral hardware;
• Evaluate change requests affecting data center space and mitigate associated risks;
• Respond promptly to incidents and facilitate resolution to minimize service disruption;
• Assist with infrastructure project implementation and coordination;
• Provide support for systems such as Control-M, Life Asia, and AWS-based tools;
• Ensure all operations align with SLAs and security protocols.
