IT Project Management Lead (PMO, VBA)

  • As an experienced IT Project Management Officer, you will be in charge of the PMO activities for IT Production Services, and will be part of the Project Management Services team;
  • The PMO is responsible for assisting and supporting the senior management of the department in their day-to-day activities. This primarily involves the follow up and drive transverse activities, sourcing and reporting (among others);
  • Works closely with senior managers of the entity and interacts frequently with other stakeholders based in Singapore and other regions where required;
  • The position requires autonomy and reliability in performing duties while maintaining close communication and relationship with all of the department teams and partners.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Experience working in a banking environment and/or international organization is an advantage;
  • Must have good understanding of an IT organization and ecosystem;
  • Must have minimum 5 years of experience in PMO activities or a project management role;
  • Highly proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel (including Pivot Tables), and MS Project;
  • Ability to produce high-quality PowerPoint documents in terms of both design and content;
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including VBA) with 3+ years of experience building and maintaining data models.

Responsibilities

  • Propose and produce monthly dashboards for department activities and projects (Risk, Quality KPI, Alert, Planning, Budget);
  • Build and implement a quality assurance framework to support transversal projects;
  • Set up an ad hoc governance for each topic/project to ensure coordination and follow-up with main stakeholders;
  • Continuously evaluate projects to ensure they meet bank standards, stay within budget, and meet deadlines;
  • Provide support to management during governance meetings;
  • Backup Head of Department on Business Continuity Plan exercises (BCP), crisis management, permanent control governance, and administrative activities;
  • Collaborate with other department heads to define and prioritize projects;
  • Provide support on HR matters, ensuring smooth hiring and onboarding processes;
  • Coordinate with Admin department for travel booking, supplies, and office materials;
  • Take the lead to ensure department alignment with compliance, security rules, and controls;
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects;
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing among project managers by promoting best practices and lessons learned;
  • Initiate processes for transverse activities such as new joiner onboarding and compliance monitoring.
