An excellent opportunity for a Trade Analyst to join a leading banking firm on a 12-month contract. This role provides exposure to Treasury & Markets operations, focusing on Interest Rate and Credit Default Swaps across multiple Asian markets. The role involves trade validation, settlements, reconciliations, and supporting process improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related discipline;
• Must have 1–3 years of experience in trade operations or financial markets support;
• Must have strong knowledge of derivative products such as interest rate swaps and credit default swaps;
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
• Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Prior experience in Treasury & Markets operations within a bank;
• Familiarity with trade life cycle management and settlement processes;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end processing support for Treasury & Markets trades, ensuring accurate trade capture, validation, and settlement;
• Authorize payments and receipts related to derivative products;
• Perform trade fixing and settlement coordination with counterparties and internal teams;
• Monitor payment processes, investigate exceptions, and ensure timely escalation;
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and trade discrepancies within defined timelines;
• Handle pre- and post-trade inquiries via email or messaging channels;
• Participate in initiatives and projects aimed at process efficiency and productivity improvements;
• Conduct data analysis and problem solving to support subject matter experts and management.
