We are seeking a Credit Control Officer to join a leading banking firm on a 12-month contract. This role will support the Institutional Banking Group in managing credit limits and collateral information, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across systems. It is suitable for early-career professionals keen to build a career in corporate banking operations.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- At least a Diploma in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or related field;
- Must have strong administrative skills with high attention to detail and accuracy;
- Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Prior knowledge or internship experience in banking operations or financial services, preferably in corporate banking;
- Familiarity with credit operations, collateral management, or limit monitoring;
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform updates for activation, revision, and maintenance of credit facilities in banking systems;
- Update and maintain accurate collateral information and other related data in the system;
- Monitor credit limit and collateral expiry, including SBLCs and Guarantees;
- Perform regular revaluations, including FCFD and shares;
- Prepare statistical and management reports to support business needs;
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of credit control processes in line with internal standards;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and support operational requirements.
