This role involves maintaining, monitoring, and supporting data center infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of servers, networks, and critical systems in Financial Institutions.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Must have Minimum 5 years Data Centre operations experience preferable in a team;
• Must have Extensive knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices such as: incident, problem, and change management;
• Experienced in high-pressure environments with 24/7 on-call support, strong multitasking skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
• Must have experience supporting data center and outsourcing vendors, as well as working in data center operations within financial institutions.

Desirable Skill(s)

• DCIM knowledge and usage (CA DCIM preferred);
• Highly motivated and self-driven, with excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively will be a Plus.

Responsibilities

• Solid understanding of data center operational processes and responsibilities;
• Execute daily data center and computer operations duties, covering key management, escorting vendors, facilities infrastructure checks, degaussing, routine checks, desktop & laptop management);
• Skilled in supporting day-to-day activities in data center and computer room settings;
• Ensure data centre physical security procedures are followed strictly;
• Promptly escalate incidents per standard response procedures and track them through to closure, while generating reports for management.
