Mandatory Skill(s)

• 15+ years in data, analytics, and AI leadership, including 5+ years in regional / global roles;
• Proven experience building and scaling enterprise data platforms and AI solutions in complex/regulatory industries;
• Expertise in data governance, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI / ML technologies, and MLOps;
• Strong knowledge of Regional data privacy regulations and AI ethics;
• Track record of engaging and influencing C-level stakeholders;
• Demonstrated success in building high-performing teams across geographies.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Financial Services Experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Regional Data & AI strategy aligned with global objectives;
• Strategic thinking with ability to balance global direction and regional execution;
• Drive a strong data-driven culture across business and technology teams;
• Champion adoption of AI/ML, advanced analytics, and automation to create business value;
• Change leadership to drive adoption of Data & AI;
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements across the region;
• Embed ethical and responsible AI practices in all initiatives;
• Establish KPIs, frameworks, and reporting for AI adoption and impact measurement;
• Oversee design, build, and scaling of data platforms, pipelines, and AI solutions;
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams (data engineering, data science, MLOps, analytics);
• Standardize and scale reusable data & AI services across the countries;
• Ensure high performance, availability, and cost optimization of platforms and solutions;
• Act as regional executive interface with business leaders, regulators, and technology partners;
• Translate business needs into AI-enabled solutions with measurable ROI;
• Manage relationships with vendors and partners (e.g., hyperscalers, platform providers);
• Build and lead high-performing, diverse data & AI teams across the region;
• Mentor and upskill teams to ensure future-ready capabilities;
• Develop partnerships with universities, institutes, and AI ecosystems to strengthen talent pipeline.
