Mandatory Skill(s)
- 15+ years in data, analytics, and AI leadership, including 5+ years in regional / global roles;
- Proven experience building and scaling enterprise data platforms and AI solutions in complex/regulatory industries;
- Expertise in data governance, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI / ML technologies, and MLOps;
- Strong knowledge of Regional data privacy regulations and AI ethics;
- Track record of engaging and influencing C-level stakeholders;
- Demonstrated success in building high-performing teams across geographies.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Financial Services Experience.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute Regional Data & AI strategy aligned with global objectives;
- Strategic thinking with ability to balance global direction and regional execution;
- Drive a strong data-driven culture across business and technology teams;
- Champion adoption of AI/ML, advanced analytics, and automation to create business value;
- Change leadership to drive adoption of Data & AI;
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements across the region;
- Embed ethical and responsible AI practices in all initiatives;
- Establish KPIs, frameworks, and reporting for AI adoption and impact measurement;
- Oversee design, build, and scaling of data platforms, pipelines, and AI solutions;
- Lead cross-functional delivery teams (data engineering, data science, MLOps, analytics);
- Standardize and scale reusable data & AI services across the countries;
- Ensure high performance, availability, and cost optimization of platforms and solutions;
- Act as regional executive interface with business leaders, regulators, and technology partners;
- Translate business needs into AI-enabled solutions with measurable ROI;
- Manage relationships with vendors and partners (e.g., hyperscalers, platform providers);
- Build and lead high-performing, diverse data & AI teams across the region;
- Mentor and upskill teams to ensure future-ready capabilities;
- Develop partnerships with universities, institutes, and AI ecosystems to strengthen talent pipeline.
