We are looking for a Proposal Engineer to join a leading water treatment solutions provider. This role is responsible for reviewing tender requirements, preparing process designs, and developing cost-effective technical and commercial proposals. You will work closely with internal engineering teams, suppliers, and customers to deliver competitive, high-quality proposals that meet client specifications and project requirements.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering;
• Must have prior experience in water or wastewater treatment design/proposals;
• Must have knowledge of Filtration, UF, RO, EDI, SRU, MBBR, MBR processes;
• Must have strong costing, documentation, and coordination skills;
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Experience with P&ID and GA drawings;
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation components;
• Knowledge of tender procedures and bid strategies.

Responsibilities

• Review tender specifications and customer requirements to develop process designs and system configurations;
• Prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals in line with client and project needs;
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors;
• Work closely with internal engineering teams to clarify technical matters and ensure proposal accuracy;
• Support Business Development in formulating winning bid strategies;
• Maintain effective communication with customers for clarifications and post-submission follow-ups;
• Upon award, review purchase orders or contracts to verify scope, compliance, and deliverables;
• Stay updated on emerging water treatment technologies and best practices to enhance proposal quality and competitiveness.
