We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Support Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in server, database, operating systems, and cloud platforms. The role focuses on supporting, maintaining, securing, and enhancing enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and compliance across on-premise and cloud environments.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and related disciplines;
- Must have 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure support and maintenance;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills with experience in incident escalation and service recovery;
- Must have hands-on experience with Oracle Database (including Oracle RAC) and Oracle-based enterprise environments;
- Strong administration experience in Linux / Red Hat Linux systems;
- Experience managing infrastructure in virtualized environments (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V);
- Must have hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure, with scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, SQL, and T-SQL.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Exposure to other database platforms such as Oracle DB, MongoDB, or MariaDB;
- Experience with vendor management.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and maintenance for IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications;
- Monitor system performance to ensure optimal uptime and reliability;
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues;
- Implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain infrastructure efficiency;
- Assist in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities;
- Collaborate with teams to document processes, configurations, and resolutions.
