Commercial Governance Specialist (Associate)

This role will use Salesforce, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau to manage trackers, workflows, and governance dashboards. This role helps in strengthening commercial governance by supporting decision forums, coordinating senior stakeholders, and ensuring commercial commitments are clearly documented, tracked, and delivered.
 

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or any relevant studies;
  • At least 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience;
  • Skilled in PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce;
  • Hands-on experience managing trackers, workflows, and BI dashboards (Power BI or Tableau);

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and workflow management capabilities with strong attention to detail;
  • Solid understanding of governance frameworks, with experience in banking, financial products, and/or credit processes; 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of producing clear, well-structured materials for senior leadership.

Responsibilities
Commercial Governance and Decision Support

  • Support the Commercial Governance Committee by documenting commercial decisions, conditions, and required follow-up actions captured accurately and addressed promptly;
  • Prepare and submit high quality governance meeting minutes, ensuring they meet documentation standards and are delivered within required timelines;
  • Maintain an organised archive of past minutes to support resubmissions and reapproval requirements;

CrossBuy & Submission Quality Control

  • Validate submissions to ensure there is a clear crossbuy strategy and captures the anticipated timelines/dates for meeting commercial hurdles;
  • Track crossbuy commitments and maintain a reliable single source of truth tracker ensuring  all updates are accurately reflected in the master tracker;

Relationship Journey Oversight

  • Maintain and update the Relationship Journey (e.g., Sector, Country of Origination, Country of Booking, Revised Due Dates);
  • Track delays, amendments, and escalations to ensure transparency and timely updates. Ensure prompt updates captured for deals delayed or deal status updated;

Reporting & Accountability

  • Produce monthly reports on crossbuy fulfillment and accountability signoffs for audit and governance reviews;
  • Escalate material delays, gaps, or noncompliance in a timely manner;

Process & Automation Improvements

  • Collaborate with technology teams (e.g., Salesforce) to streamline workflows, improve data quality and enhance reporting automation;
  • Recommend governance enhancements to strengthen transparency, effectiveness, reduce manual effort, and improve endtoend process discipline
