This role manages wafer manufacturing to meet quality, yield, and production targets. The selected person will be working with global and cross-functional teams on process improvements and qualifications.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Science-related field;
• At least 2 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing company, semiconductor, or electronics industry;  
• Must have experience in quality management systems, data analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), and statistical process control (SPC);
• Must have experience in statistical tools such as JMP, and knowledge of Visual Basic, databases, and query handling.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Problem solving methods (8D, Fishbone, DOE etc.) and risk analysis (like FMEA) are good to have;
• Self-motivated and able to work well in a team;
• Good analytical and communication skills;
• Willingness and curiosity to learn attitude.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance process capability and drive yield improvement initiatives;
• Coordinate troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve process issues and yield losses;
• Oversee wafer manufacturing processes to meet quality, yield, and production objectives;
• Collaborate with global technology teams on process alignment and qualification of new processes, suppliers, and materials as needed;
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement long-term solutions for recurring process and quality challenges.
• Establish best practices and develop innovative approaches for ongoing process optimization;
• Conduct statistical data analysis to support process improvements and interpret key metrics;
• Utilize structured problem-solving techniques (8D, Fishbone, DOE) and risk assessment methods (FMEA) to address issues.
