We are seeking highly professional CloudOps Lead for one of our reputed client in Singapore. The CloudOps Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, deployment, and operational excellence of the organization’s AWS cloud infrastructure. This role drives cloud strategy, ensures high standards of security, scalability, and cost efficiency, and leads the management of Kubernetes environments and infrastructure automation using Terraform. The CloudOps Lead will also manage cloud networking and security controls, optimize system performance, and guide cloud migration initiatives. In addition to technical leadership, the role mentors CloudOps engineers, collaborates closely with development and security teams, and leads incident response to maintain reliable, high availability cloud services.

Mandatory Skill(s)
Cloud & Infrastructure:-

• 5+ years of handson experience in cloud operations, engineering, or architecture;
• Strong expertise in AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Route 53, etc.);
• Experience supporting hybrid or onprem to cloud migration projects;

Kubernetes & Containerization

• Minimum 2+ years managing production Kubernetes clusters;
• Experience with container deployment, monitoring, scaling, and troubleshooting;

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation;
• Ability to establish and maintain IaC best practices;

Networking & Security

• Strong understanding of routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, and cloud networking;
• Experience implementing and managing IAM, encryption, logging, auditing, and cloud security controls;
• Familiarity with compliance and security standards;

System & Scripting Skills

• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy;
• Proficiency in scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Windows Shell;
• Ability to read and troubleshoot Python, Java, or JavaScript;

CloudOps & Reliability

• Monitoring and optimization of cloud reliability, performance, and cost;
• Experience ensuring high availability for cloud-hosted applications;
• Incident response leadership and operational troubleshooting.

Desirable Skill(s)

• AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud certification is preferred;
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows is highly advantageous;
• Experience using monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch;
• Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities with a proactive mindset;
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to work across technical and nontechnical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of AWS-based cloud infrastructure;
• Provide technical direction to ensure scalable, secure, and costeffective cloud environments;
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture roadmaps aligned with business objectives;
• Oversee management of Kubernetes clusters to ensure availability, scalability, and security;
• Support deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting of containerized applications;
• Lead infrastructure provisioning and automation using Terraform;
• Establish and enforce InfrastructureasCode (IaC) standards across teams;
• Manage and troubleshoot cloud networking components including routing, firewalls, load balancing, and VPNs;
• Ensure cloud operations adhere to security standards and compliance requirements;
• Implement and monitor IAM, encryption, logging, and auditing controls;
• Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and Route 53;
• Utilize AWS application services including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and Kinesis;
• Support hybrid and multicloud integration and cloud migration initiatives;
• Monitor and report on system reliability, performance, and cost optimization metrics;
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement through automation and best practices;
• Ensure high availability of web hosting and cloud-based solutions;
• Mentor and guide CloudOps engineers to build a highperforming team;
• Collaborate with development, security, and PMO teams to align cloud operations with organizational goals;
• Lead incident response and troubleshooting efforts for cloud services.
