Technical Trainer (Security System)

We are seeking a Technical Trainer with strong eLearning expertise and the ability to simplify complex CCTV and security technologies into engaging learning experiences.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Must have 3-5 years of experience in technical training and eLearning, with strong knowledge of CCTV/security technologies.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams;
  • Hands-on experience with Articulate 360 (including Storyline) for eLearning development;
  • Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online training best practices;
  • Solid understanding of IT fundamentals, including basic networking and Windows environments;
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills;
  • Confident and engaging presenter with strong public speaking ability;
  • Good understanding of CCTV, surveillance and related security technologies;
  • Comfortable working in 24/7 operational environments;
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Proven experience in technical training or similar educational roles;
  • Background in the CCTV, security or surveillance industry;
  • Experience working in customer-facing environments with diverse technical skill levels.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging, high-quality training content that simplifies complex technical concepts, product features and business processes;
  • Design interactive eLearning modules using tools like Articulate 360 and Storyline, following adult learning best practices;
  • Develop a range of training materials including presentations, guides, exercises, assessments and quick reference resources;
  • Keep all training content fresh and relevant by updating it based on product changes, feedback and evolving business needs;
  • Deliver impactful training sessions across formats — in-person, virtual (VILT), webinars and self-paced learning;
  • Break down technical topics in a clear, confident and engaging way for different audiences and skill levels;
  • Use real-world scenarios, demos and hands-on practice to improve understanding and retention;
  • Adapt your delivery style to suit diverse learners across cultures and technical backgrounds;
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering and support teams to ensure content stays accurate and aligned with updates;
  • Manage and maintain training content on the LMS, including tracking participation and generating reports;
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments and performance data, and continuously improve learning experiences;
  • Contribute to building consistent training standards, templates and best practices across programs.
