Business Development Manager

Responsible for managing and growing strategic enterprise accounts in Financial Services. Engages with senior stakeholders to align Edge Technology and Enterprise Solutions with business priorities. Requires a consultative sales approach, managing complex sales cycles, and driving both short-term revenue and long-term customer success as an individual contributor.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred;
  • Must have 5–8 years’ experience in Financial Services, preferably in banking or insurance;
  • Proven solution-selling experience in infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise solutions with major service or software vendors;
  • Track record of direct new business sales and consistent revenue achievement;
  • Experience managing and expanding strategic enterprise accounts;
  • Strong credibility with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including CxOs;
  • Solid understanding of consultative sales and value-based selling methodologies;
  • Customer-focused with an emphasis on long-term relationships and success.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Experience in digital or insurance-related solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in assigned accounts;
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, including financial targets and milestones over 1–3 years;
  • Manage complex sales cycles using internal and external resources effectively;
  • Understand customers’ business environments and continuously assess and validate their needs;
  • Apply consultative selling to communicate clear business value and ROI;
  • Drive short-term sales while ensuring long-term customer success and sustainable revenue growth;
  • Provide accurate quarterly forecasts and achieve revenue targets consistently.
