We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Provisioning & Platform Operations Analyst to support enterprise data platforms projects for a renowned bank. This role will work closely with business, technology, and data governance teams to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient data provisioning across multiple environments.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related discipline;
- Must have 0-2 years of experience in data operations, data provisioning, or data platform support, preferably within the banking or financial services industry;
- Must have hands on experience in SQL;
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, data lakes, and data warehouses;
- Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and access control frameworks;
- Must have Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Self-motivated team player with strong sense of ownership, drive, and initiative;
- Ability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) and data integration/movement tools;
- Experience in banking or financial services;
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
- Knowledge of data lineage or data catalog tools.
Responsibilities
- Work with business teams to understand their data needs and provide the required datasets;
- Manage data provisioning processes across different systems and environments;
- Ensure all data movement follows the bank’s data governance and security policies;
- Monitor data usage to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and proper access;
- Set up access and environments for new users on the platform;
- Maintain clear documentation of data processes, data flow, and system setups;
- Troubleshoot and resolve data access or provisioning issues;
- Build good working relationships with business and technical stakeholders;
- Support users with questions on data access and availability.
