Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst in the Payments domain to analyze requirements, develop specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the International Core Payment System.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field;
• Must have 7 years of experience as a business analyst in banking IT, focusing on Payment systems and Core Banking applications;
• Must have experience in payment systems (ISO20022, SEPA, SWIFT) with experience in data mapping and testing;
• Must have hands-on experience with payment systems like Payments Hub, Clearing, and Automated Clearing House;
• Experience in client data management and data warehousing;
• Skilled in documenting requirements, creating user stories, and performing testing;
• Knowledge of payment products like TT, RTGS, LVP, Payroll, Cheque, DD, and Mass & Bulk payments;
• Proficient in UAT, Functional, and System Integration testing of banking applications.
• Experienced in working with complex systems in a global, Agile environment, with strong analytical and communication skills;
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of collaborating with technical teams to deliver effective solutions. 

Desirable Skill(s)

• Working knowledge of Agile Scrum framework.

Responsibilities

• Apply Business Analysis best practices and engage stakeholders across all functions;
• Analyze and manage functional requirements from business, users, and technology teams;
• Provide design options and guide the team through solution implementation;
• Evaluate IT solutions and offer recommendations;
• Provide domain expertise to develop practical business solutions with key sponsors;
• Ensure services align with the business strategy and consider future enhancements;
• Assess the impact of changes or technology issues on project timelines;
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions and assist developers in resolving queries.
