Project Management Officer

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) with a strong background in payments to support and drive project governance, execution, and strategic initiatives for a leading bank.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology, or a related field;
• Must Have 2+ years of experience as  PMO/PM, within the banking or fintech industry;
• Must have experience in payments systems, transaction processing, and industry regulations namely, SWIFT, RTP;
• Proven experience in project governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement;
• Team player and an individual contributor;
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills;

Desirable Skill(s)

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications;
• Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Asana and others);

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage payments-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget;
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product, technology, compliance, and operations, to ensure seamless execution;
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies;
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO function to optimize project delivery;
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards in the payments domain;
• Provide senior management with strategic insights and recommendations for improving payments operations and efficiencies;
• Maintain and manage project documentation, status reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs);
• Support resource allocation and financial tracking for payments-related initiatives.
