IT ServiceDesk Officer

We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Engineer to provide technical support and ensure smooth daily operations for both office and remote users. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT assets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high service standards.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or a related field;
  • Must have 1 – 2 years of experience in an IT support role;
  • Must have experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow);
  • Strong knowledge of workstation hardware, software applications, mobile devices (iOS/Android), and network services;
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
  • Must have Familiarity with Active Directory (AD), Microsoft SharePoint, MS Intune, and AVD/WVD support;
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices and incident management processes;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical users;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize support requests efficiently.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Experience with Mac OS and JAMF Pro;
  • Background in AV systems and meeting room equipment support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and on-site technical support for workstations, applications, email, printers, smart devices, corporate mobile phones, and network-related services;
  • Set up and relocate workstations, ensuring seamless connectivity;
  • Assist in setting up and supporting IT-related aspects of conference room meetings;
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary;
  • Contribute to the Knowledge Database by documenting troubleshooting procedures and best practices;
  • Generate and maintain reports/dashboards to track service performance and SLA adherence;
  • Work closely with vendors and facility teams to resolve IT hardware and meeting room device issues;
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for hardware, software, and meeting room equipment;
  • Support security vulnerability patching on company computers;
  • Ensure compliance with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, IT security policies, and risk management guidelines.
