Storage Engineer

We are looking for a Storage Engineer to manage storage systems and handle complex support issues to ensure smooth operations for renowned bank.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• Must have at least 5+ years of experience with enterprise storage platforms such as DELL/EMC Isilon, HPE XP7, 3PAR, Brocade Fabrics;
• Must have expertise in SAN/NAS administration and solutions, such as disaster recovery, performance tuning, and replication; 
• Certification in SAN, NAS or Fabric technologies;
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and management platforms;
• Experience managing enterprise-level, multi-site storage environments with capacity planning and monitoring;
• Proficient in scripting and automation to streamline operations;
• Willingness and availability to work on shifts;
• Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, and able to perform well under pressure.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Familiarity with multiple operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and UNIX;
• Solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM frameworks and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Expert will assign tasks, encourage collaboration, and support skill development within the team;
• Manage service improvements, ensure system reliability, and drive efficiency through automation;
• Resolve high-severity issues, perform root cause analysis, and assess technology changes;
• Document and share relevant technical information;
• Responsible for maintaining code according to specifications;
• The expert will assist the team with issue diagnosis, collaborate with peers and project teams, and lead transformation projects;
• Ensure production readiness, handle high-severity incidents, and stay updated on new technologies;
• As the client escalation point, they will manage relationships and service quality;
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and complete necessary training.
