Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and related discipline;
- Must have 2 years of work experience in networking, Storage, SAN/NAS technologies;
- Must have Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and middleware technologies;
- Must have familiarity with storage platforms such as Huawei, Dell, Hitachi (HDS), or NetApp;
- Must have an understanding of basic networking concepts and how they relate to system performance and connectivity;
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism in all interactions, ensuring a positive experience for end users;
- Basic knowledge of volume management, snapshots, replication (HyperMetro, SRDF, GAD, Local replication, Snapmirror), multipathing software, and storage monitoring tools;
- Familiarity with Brocade SAN switches (zoning, fabric monitoring, troubleshooting);
- A high level of attention to detail when working with system configurations, logs, and troubleshooting to prevent potential issues and ensure quality service;
- Strong verbal and writing skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience in Middleware and Container Platforms.
Responsibilities
- Act as the initial point of contact for incident reports, addressing and resolving basic technical issues related to OS, middleware, and container platforms;
- Storage Administration & Support, Perform on-boarding, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of SAN/NAS systems;
- Assist in firmware and software upgrades to maintain system supportability;
- Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning to optimize storage utilization.
SAN Fabric & Connectivity; - Assist in the configuration and management of Brocade SAN switches;
- Monitor SAN fabric health, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and escalate as needed, Incident & Problem Management;
- Troubleshoot common issues with operating systems, middleware, and container platforms, diagnosing and resolving them where possible or escalating to senior teams when needed;
- Continuously monitor system health, performance, and availability;
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure that platforms are running efficiently;
- Collect and analyze system logs to identify issues, gather insights into root causes, and aid in troubleshooting processes;
- Responsible for 24/7 support, including morning, evening, night shifts, and weekend work, depending on operational needs.
