Big Data Technical Lead

We are seeking a Big Data Technical Lead, responsible for developing and maintaining the Payments applications for a renowned bank.
 
 

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in big data technology;
• Must have at least 10 years of working experience in programming languages such as Java/J2EE development;
• Strong knowledge in Core Java (Java 8+) and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design;
• Experience working in Big Data framework such as Storm, Hadoop, HDFS, Hbase, Ignite;
• Experience in Kafka messaging system;
• Must have experience in end-to-end design and implementation of complex IT systems;
• Sound experience in DevOps Pipeline tools such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, GitLab.  

Desirable Skill(s)

• Knowledge of Flink, Redis, s3;
• Basic understanding of finance and investment banking.  

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design effective, scalable solutions;
• Lead the development and maintenance of an in-house payment system;
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to ensure successful project delivery;
• Design, build, and deliver software products aligned with project goals and enterprise standards;
• Conduct code reviews and oversee software integration, testing, and validation processes;
• Provide technical leadership and drive solution architecture using industry best practices;
• Ensure all development follows internal standards and agile methodologies;
• Prepare and maintain high-quality technical documentation and project deliverables;
• Lead and participate in technical discussions to solve complex problems;
• Support production systems by investigating and resolving issues in a timely manner.
