Test Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to work on projects for a renowned bank. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our operations systems through effective testing, continuous process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Must have 2 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related fields;
• Must have experience in writing test cases, preparing and creating test data, executing and retesting test cases;
• Must have the ability to leverage GenAI tools for test case creation and enrichment;
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical certifications;
• Knowledge of functional, performance, security, and regression testing principles;
• Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical mindset, and effective communication skills;

Desirable Skill(s)

• Proficiency in testing tools such as JIRA, Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks;
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks;
• Certifications such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) or CSTE (Certified Software Tester) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications;
• Write comprehensive test cases and prepare necessary test data;
• Conduct functional, performance, security, and regression testing on software products;
• Leverage in-house GenAI tools to assist in test case creation and enhancement;
• Ensure timely execution of test cases and completion of test runs within defined deadlines;
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, and collaborate with development teams for resolution;
• Communicate test results and provide actionable feedback to relevant stakeholders;
• Contribute suggestions for improving the overall quality of the software development process;
• Collaborate with the Testing Centre of Excellence (COE) to enhance testing methodologies and drive process improvements across teams;
