IT Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist to manage enterprise-level data protection and endpoint security tools including antivirus, (Endpoint Detection and Response) EDR, encryption, and DLP (Data Loss Prevention).

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Must have 8+ years of experience in IT Security, with hands-on expertise in endpoint protection technologies such as Symantec Endpoint Protection, McAfee, Windows Defender, or SentinelOne;
• Must have strong understanding of antivirus, EDR, and email/data security tools in a production environment;
• Must have experience managing endpoint and data security in large enterprise environments;
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for incident, problem, and change management processes;
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and security operations in an enterprise setup;
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Familiarity with scripting such as Python, PowerShell, Regex;
• Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Disk/File Encryption, Database Activity Monitoring;
• Professional certifications such as CISSP or Symantec SEPM Specialist;
• Working knowledge of French.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical escalation point for all endpoint/data security incidents;
• Manage antivirus and EDR deployments, configurations, upgrades, and policy definitions;
• Actively participate in incident, request, and change management;
• Lead root cause analysis for critical/high severity issues;
• Support security infrastructure projects: migrations, end-of-life replacement, and DR tests;
• Handle forensic analysis, evidence collection, and response to data leak incidents;
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and security policies;
• Drive process automation and continuous improvement in security operations;
• Maintain and update technical documentation and operational runbooks;
• Support recruitment, training, and mentoring of junior team members.
