We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable BI solutions that support business decision-making.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence development, including ETL, data modeling, and dashboard/report creation;
- Must have experience in BI Tools such as Power BI and Tableau;
- Must have experience in SQL and experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle;
- Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks such as Apache NiFi or similar;
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data processing and analysis;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
- A proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data technologies (like Hadoop or Spark) is advantageous;
- Experience with reporting tools such as Elixir Report will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into a centralized data warehouse;
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all stages of the data lifecycle;
- Build scalable data models to support analytical needs and business reporting;
- Create dynamic, user-friendly dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau and / or Power BI;
- Monitor and optimize BI tools and backend databases for high performance and reliability;
- Automate recurring reports and data analysis tasks to streamline operations and improve efficiency;
- Empower end-users with self-service BI capabilities through intuitive reporting environments;
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver customized BI solutions;
- Enforce data governance standards to maintain security, compliance, and data quality;
- Conduct routine data validation, quality checks, and issue resolution;
- Provide support for BI tool configurations, upgrades, and troubleshooting;
- Enhance and maintain existing dashboards, reports, and data extracts based on evolving business needs.
